Optimization of Aeration Control and
Biogas Quality Monitoring
The need to increase energy efficiency while stabilizing processes and meeting the new environmental goals of the city of Kiel required a comprehensive modernization of the existing aeration system. By implementing low-pressure-loss control valves and an intelligent process control system, significant savings were achieved, and process stability was sustainably improved.

The BINDER Group is acquiring Aqualogic® from Passavant-Geiger GmbH as part of an asset deal. The parties have agreed not to disclose the purchase price. Aqualogic® will continue as an independent brand within the newly founded Aqualogic GmbH – all employees will remain on board.
With this step, the BINDER Group is specifically expanding its portfolio and technology platform to include Aqualogic®‘s fuzzy logic expertise – in particular for load-depending aeration control in wastewater treatment plants. The result: higher efficiency, higher process reliability, and higher sustainability.
